Sophie Laura’s Sour Gummies

 

Sour Gummies

Prep Time 4 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Chill Time 20 minutes
Total Time 19 minutes
Servings 15 gummies

Ingredients

Alternative flavor

  • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ¼ cup strong brewed fruit tea: rhubarb, raspberry, strawberry

Instructions

  1. Add lemon juice to a small pan and sprinkle the gelatin over the top allowing liquid to soak it in

  2. Turn the hob on and allow to slowly heat up

  3. Mix altogether to combine well into an "apple sauce" consistency 

  4. Pour into moulds and allow to set in the fridge for 20 mins

  1. Hi! I noticed that your alternate flavors are half the amount in the original recipe. Do I still use the same amount of gelatin and extract??

    1. Hi Loretta, so sorry for the late response!
      It’s just the one alternative flavor… so instead of 1/2 cup of lemon juice you’d have 1/4 cup of lime juice combined with 1/4 cup of brewed fruit tea… so the liquid comes to 1/2 cup in total
