Sesame Tenderstem Broccoli
Servings 4 servings
Ingredients
- 250 g (8oz) tenderstem or purple sprouting broccoli
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 inch fresh ginger peeled, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter grass-fed
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 small bunch fresh coriander stems and leaves separated
- 1 tbsp fresh basil leaves chopped
Instructions

Steam the broccoli until slightly softened or boil for 3 mins.

In a pestle and mortar, make a rough paste by pounding the garlic, ginger and coriander stems together. (If you don't have a pestle and mortar just chop finely).

Add the butter to a hot wok or frying pan. Add the paste and sizzle for 1 min.

Add the cooked broccoli, toss well and sprinkle over the sesame seeds.

Turn off the heat, throw in the coriander and basil leaves, give it a good stir in the hot wok and serve.
