Sophie Laura’s Oven Baked Spicy Beef Burgers

A super easy mid-week dinner when you don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen, these succulent burgers will win over the whole family! Double the quantities and batch-cook for your lunchbox, or freeze the uncooked patties ready to defrost and throw in the oven another day.

Best served with our fat-filled Easy Keto Mayonnaise – view recipe topped with avocado and tomato all wrapped up in a salad wrap.

Oven Baked Spicy Beef Burgers

Total Time 25 minutes
Servings 8 patties

Ingredients

  • 500 g (17 oz) minced beef
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 10-15 g (½ oz) ground almonds
  • 2 spring onion / scallion chopped
  • 1 fresh red chilli chopped
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt
  • 8 tsp grassfed butter

Instructions

  1. Combine the minced beef with herbs, chilli and spring onions

  2. Add half of the egg mixture and enough ground almonds to bind

  3. Divide the mixture into 8 burgers

  4. Place on oven tray covered in baking paper. Add a teaspoon of butter to each patty

  5. Bake at 350°F (180°C) in the oven for 15-20 mins
