Keto Salted Caramel Slice
Ingredients
For the base:
- 1/2 cup macadamia nuts
- 3/4 cup almonds
- 1-3 tbsp erythritol to your taste
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
For the caramel:
- 1/2 cup unhulled tahini
- 1-2 tsp almond flour
- 3 drops liquid stevia
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp hot water
- 1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt
For the chocolate topping:
- 3/4 cup refined coconut oil
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder organic, unsweetened
- 5 liquid stevia
- (optional) 1/2 very ripe avocado this will increase total carbs
Instructions

Line a small bread tin with baking paper.

For the base: Using a food processor combine all base layer ingredients and process until mixture comes together. Spread into the lined tin and flatten with a spoon.

For the caramel: Using the same food processor (no need to wash it) combine caramel layer ingredients and process until smooth & creamy. Spread over base layer and flatten out with a spoon.

For the chocolate topping: In a small bowl, combine choc ingredients and whisk until smooth. Add more water if mixture is too thick, or if you prefer it thicker put all into food processor with the avocado and process until smooth.

Spread over caramel layer evenly. Add tin to freezer and allow to set for 30 minutes. Store in the fridge in an airtight container or in the freezer to keep longer.
