
Our hearty take on the good ol’ Chilli Con Carne classic is hard to beat – quick, simple and flavourful. Best served with our yummy Cauliflower Mushroom Rice.

Keto Chilli con Carne

Servings 4 servings
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp avocado oil or refined coconut oil
- 75 g (2½ oz) onion chopped
- 1 stick celery chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 400 g (14 oz) ground beef
- 1 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp ground fenugreek
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp pink himalayan salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 230 ml (1 cup) bone broth or water
- 230 ml (1 cup) tinned plum tomatoes
- 1 tbsp fresh basil leaves chopped
Instructions

Melt the oil in a large pan, add onions, celery, garlic and chillies and sauté over medium heat for 5 mins

Stir in the ground beef and cook until the meat is no longer pink

Add all of the spices to the pan with the salt and black pepper

Stir in the bone broth (or water) and chopped tomatoes and bring to the boil

Continue cooking over a medium heat for 15-20 mins stirring occasionally

Add the freshly chopped basil and serve... For a little extra fat, try adding a tablespoon of soured cream. Yum!
